New Mitsubishi Outlander EX in 2007
After a great success on the North American and Japanese markets, Mitsubishi is about to launch the Outlander in China. The SUV will be named Outlander EX and it will be sold in China from january 2007.
The new Mitsubishi 2007 Outlander EX is the same as the old Outlander already known and appreciated in North America, but Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has announced greater performaces. There will still be only one engine available, a 3.0 liter variable valve timing V6 bringing up to 220 horse power coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission, but this is a low emission, low fuel consumption new engine from the car manufacturer. All Wheel Control (AWC) concept from Mitsubishi is present on the new 2007 Outlander EX and the spare tire is announced as standard for the Chinese market.
The new Outlander EX from Mitsubishi Motors will be one of few compact SUVs to offer up to seven-occupant seating and when the second row of seats is folded flat, the cargo volume increases to a massive 59.7 cubic feet and the next generation platform guarantees enhanced crashworthiness and stiffness. Also, the new 2007 Outlander will come generously equipped.
