At the 2005 Frankfurt International Motor Show Mitsubishi Motors presented a new Sportback Concept. This new concept makes a five-door car look like a coupe.

It seems that the concept sets new lines for the future design in Mitsubishi cars and it is very likely for the new Sportback  Concept  to be transformed into a new production car. Mitsubishi Motors made from that aggressive design a DNA exercise, building a base for the future models.

 

The 5-door sports hatchback class is getting highly popular in Europe so there’s no wonder why Mitsubishi previews this particular vision for it’s C-segment platform.

 

As for the technical specs, it looks like this Sportback Concept will be endowed with all-new fourcylinder engines, front or four weel drive, bringing a maximum 200 horsepower performance to match the looks. For Europe the Sportback Concept from Mitsubishi could have diesel engines also.
