The new 2007 Mercury Mariner Hybrid is a 4 door 5 passenger sport utility equipped with a standard 2.3 L I-4 hybrid engine that puts out 133 horsepower and achieves 32-mpg in the city and 29-mpg on the highway. This engine makes the car a fast hybrid.

The car has cool design, with satin-aluminum front and taillamp grilles.

A cool feature is the Reverse Sensing System which is included in the Premium Package and which emits sounds when approaching objects. It can be turned off at a push of a button and it makes parallel parking easy. Other cool features of this interesting car are the heated exterior sideview mirrors, the 16 inch 5-spoke aluminum wheels, the standard leather-wrapped stearing wheel, chromed door handles and gear-shift surround.
